What is a rowing challenge?
Baroona Physio rowing challenge is a test of performance enhancement following two weeks of learning two techniques developed by Michael Ridgway for increasing power in the rowing stroke.

Michael Ridgway (ex-elite rower and masters qualified spinal specialty physiotherapist) is setting a challenge to revolutionize power development with your rowing stroke.
Everyone, from novice to international level, is invited to take on this power challenge...book in today to learn the two techniques to increase your power!
Michael has developed TWO KEY methods for achieving maximal power output with your stroke. If you would like to learn these methods and prove how much this drops your ergo times then take up this challenge:
1. First a pre-challenge ergo trial is performed.
The post-challenge ergo trial to be performed after two weeks, and a minimum of 2000 reps, of practicing the TWO KEY techniques for power development.
2. After the first trial ergo, each participant is to learn and practice 150 reps minimum per day of two techniques uniquely designed by Michael Ridgway for greater power through the drive.
3. Get at least one review of technique by a Baroona Rowing Physio to ensure you are practicing accurately (ideally within the first 7 days).
4. If you notice you need loosening up (if the stretches aren’t getting you loose quickly) then feel free to book in with one of us at the practice. Call reception on 3876 9990 and they will explain availability and pricing etc.
5. Please spread the word amongst your crew members and see if they will commit to the challenge. VERY IMPORTANT – please only participant if you are serious about following through with all the reps and the two max-trials.
Also, participants are asked to volunteer testimonials with some pre/post photos/video/written/results/names etc. for the Baroona Physio web site - ensuring minimal information is revealed – i.e. just the gain in seconds comparing pre-to-post so that your total times are not made public etc.
